Default First shave of the year

First shave of the day of 2018 using the last restoration of 2017 finished yesterday. The razor is Truefitt W Crown R mop scales, brush is by Haryali, scuttle by Steve Woodhead & Phoenix & Beau’s Whitechapel soap. The shave was surprisingly good, first pass felt a little rough and I thought I didn’t hone it enough but maybe that’s due to a weeks growth on my face. When the first pass was done, the 2nd & 3rd pass was amazing! The soap helped the razor glide across my face & neck with ease, the scuttle with warm water in it, keeping soap & brush warm was bliss. The only thing I can say is the razor felt heavy but apart from that & the roughness of the first pass, surprisingly good shave! Happy New Year all!
