Richard, any difference in the feeling of shaving with your previous Iwasaki and Iwasaki Tamahagane?

    ---Sunday---
    Razor--Koraat 8/8 French point.
    Strop--SRD Premium 1.
    Soap--Wilmo.
    Brush--VDH badger.
Aftershave--Alum block, Dickinson's witch hazel, and a generous splash of Aqua-Velva Musk.
Result--4 pass bbs. A March blizzard warning for my part of the country seemed to keep the old widow women and divorcees inside today. Hopefully next Sunday I'll have better luck. You gents have a great day and week. Look sharp and smell nice for the ladies.

Dmitri, My two Iwasaki razors are probably my two best shavers. The Tamahagane is slighly smaller and much older. At this point I can't really tell much difference in the feel of the shave based upon the steel, but I've only just started using the Tamahagane. Perhaps someone with more experience or knowledge than I could tell a difference. I have a half dozen Tamahagane Japanese razors that are excellent shavers, although I'm not sure they have a different feel than many of my other Japanese razors.
    Richard
