    Kudos, Michael.
You are fortunate to own that razor.

Can we go with Ice Cream Bowl?
After all, the folks at MDC made it to emulate one! Really!

I can see holding it sideways over the sink and dipping the tips.
    Get after it.
Any advise on using the bowl?

Several years of use until you actually use the bowl!

Thanks so much! I do indeed feel fortunate to have this razor. Not only is the workmanship superb, but it's a flat-out great shaver.

As far as the brain/ice cream bowl, I find that MdC needs less loading than most other soaps. For example, with a typical soap, I'll load for about 100 swirls with a 24-26mm brush, close to 200 with a 30mm and up brush, but with the MdC, it's 50 swirls, and I've got enough to shave for two days. I just hold the bowl, load the soap with a damp brush and then go either to the face or a bowl for lather. I've had it for close to 3 years, and haven't made a dent in it.
