13/16 Imperial restored with olive wood scales honed to 20k.
And a nice citrus soap from Oleo.
    Splash of Clubman Vanilla.
    Wonderful shave. Keen and comfortable.

I have to say that the first picture I took I had to delete and start over. Was covering part of the "P" and didnt want any mistakes or bad judgements against me.

Richard, superb photo and fantastic read! A great companion read is Orwell's Homage to Catalonia.

Thanks. I grew up skiing in Sun Valley, ID in the mid to late 50's, and used to see Hemingway walking around the area. I later read everything I could find by him, several times over. My wife was kind enough to find this first edition for me.

Richard, that's awesome about Hemingway, and what an incredible gift from your sweetheart! I devoured all his works as well...he and Steinbeck (read all his as well) are two of my all-time favorites from that era of America lit.

I almost added that I also loved Steinbeck and have read all of his as well. My wife's grandmother gave me a first edition Grapes of Wrath about forty years ago. In good condition, but without a dust jacket and not pristine, but valuable to me just the same, as is the above book.
