I rarely use this razor because its a little light for my tastes, but I had so little beard left after yesterday's brilliant shave....

I changed the scales on the Wapi and am giving it to my neighbor, Eli. This one was difficult honing! - but it is shaving like a dream now!

    2 new Wapis
    Eicker & Sohne 11/16 RP

The Wapis aren't quite there. They shaved, but are still pulling a bit in the goatee area. Back to the hones!

    • Old Frederick Reynolds ~quarter ground
    • Old 1" wide loom strop
    • 24 mm Blankity-Blank's badger brush in a handle I turned on my old-school pole lathe, finished with an old look
    • Bigelow's cream in a simple mug
    • Usual 2+ passes
    • Lucky Tiger after shave at 5:45 for satisfying comfort, British Sterling aftershave at 8:15 for my young bride of nearly 30 years before leaving for the office
Same "old" shave, new every morning!! Smoooth and satisfying.
