Tunes: Stan Getz & Joao Gilberto - Getz / Gilberto

Prep: Hot Shower + Proraso Moisturizing Pre-Shave
    Brush: My old warhorse Omega

WOW! This week has started out strong right out of the gate. All of you gents have really stepped your games up! Tip of the hat to celticcrusader - what a beautiful image. I also am never not amazed at Bob’s incredible collection... always fun to see what you strop up next.

Simple but effective shave here this morning. Got around to making some new scales for my favorite old Wosty, and I have been getting some really nice shaves from it the past week. Figured I would bring her out again today in honor of Benz!

Quiet and relaxing day on tap here. Going to get some coffee and breakfast, pick up the Racing Form, and then hang with Coop and try to make a few bucks at Saratoga. Had a decent day yesterday, let’s hope it continues.

Keep the fantastic shaves coming, gents. I truly enjoy everything you all share!

    Sunday
    Rasoir Louis deposé razor (~1910)
Star blade touched up with MicroMesh, Pierre d’Ardennes, Blue Coticule and large Asagi slurry stone
    J&T badger brush in ebony
    Frankensuds
    Thayer’s witch hazel
    Acca Kappa 1869 balm
    Kolonya Mandalina EdC

Had some fun cleaning this razor from old gunk and making it shine again, as well as making the Star blade shaveable again with limited resources. Did well: fine shave, no irritation. Will fine-tune the edge once I’m at my home gear again.
