    Thank you Shawn.
I see you had a nice Jazzy shave. I still have Coltrane on repeat here.

I love it! That Coltrane album really is fabulous. Shame we can’t be enjoying it together over a cup of coffee and conversation!

Sunday mornings to me have always meant a nice shave, the Sunday NY Times, a bagel with lox, and of course, jazz LPs...

    Razor: Rigarazor
    Brush: Thater Two Band Badger
    Soap: Trumpers Eucris
    Splash: PAA Jitterbug Fougere
Scent: Trumpers Eucris Eau de Toilette

This Riga is one I had set aside for a while. It pulled a bit on the whiskers when I first bought it (used). It wanted some honing time, and I couldn't get to it until this weekend. Thanks to some of the honing techniques I picked up on this very site, it did a great job today. Took a bit of work, but it got there excellently.

    Soap: Tabac
    Scuttle: SWK
    Brush: Razorock 400

This razor is my first attempt at making scales.
They need modifications/refinements. The material is black walnut. Finished with tung oil. Forgot how unique the smell off this wood is. Brought back some 40+ year old memories. Good ones.

    ---Sunday---
    Razor--R.B.&R.
    Strops--SRD Premium 1 and Illinois 6454.
    Soap--Mitchell's Wool Fat.
    Brush--Outback Magna-Badger.
Aftershave--Alum block, Dickinson's witch hazel, and a generous splash of Aqua-Velva Musk.
Result--4 pass bbs. No impressing the old widow women and divorcees today. High temps, wind, and red flag fire warnings for this area kept me home. You gents have a great day and week. Look sharp and smell nice for the ladies.

Looks good, Benz! Bathrooms are like light boxes, esp with a white shower-curtain and lots of light. I have the same pink tile in my old house's outhouses ..It's back in style!
