    The Fatip is inexpensive enough that everyone should try one that likes old style OC DEs. They are solid made of brass and plated. Only drawback is the tolerances can be a bit loose so you have to check to see you are getting equal blade exposure on both sides when you tighten the handle. Newer ones are supposed to be better in that regard. They shave old style too, you relly want to make sure the angle is right and use no weight.


    The lather is decent enough not to cause me any trouble with the shaves. It is from a batch years ago that the maker screwed the scent up on and RR closed them out at half price iirc. Solved the scent problem by loading it up with peppermint EO.
