    It going to be a learning curve. The normal angle you would use with a DE gives a very harsh shave. I immediately started to try different angles and found one that almost eliminated the harshness. It will take a few more shaves to dial it in. I think because it looks like a standard DE you think the angles would be the same. The curve of the razor plus the curved blade, which is not as thin as a standard DE blade, are the deterrents to an immediate smooth shave. But, by the end of the shave, it gave almost as good as a W&B straight would. Like I said, more trial and error to get there.
