Mondial Bergamotto Neroli shaving soap
Thayer’s witch hazel
Nivea balm

Found this one on the Bay. Advertized as 8/8 and shave ready. Both it was not. It’s a bit under 15/16 and not as sharp and as smooth as I like it. That last part I can fix, the first part not. Too bad, because I do like the shape and the ace of spades.
We’ll see. Finished the shave wit the #50 Herder. That was a lot better.

I don't know why they have not been admonished into ceasing their claim of 8/8 on these.
Several sellers are liquidating them. Some are more honest than others, I suppose.
Still, true 7/8 razors, most are unhoned from the factory edge and are close to 15/16 overall width.
They benefit from a tapered wedge and some thin pivot washers. Otherwise the scales will chew on the tang.
Hone it up, Herman, and it will be top-shelf!
