These two blades were waiting to be perfected. Th Candidius was tricky as it has a slight warp. Good test for my honing skills. The Herder was a breeze to hone and yeah, Tom you are right; once honed these are top shelf.
The scotch is a peaty one from the Isle of Mull. Pretty rare.
