    For the past several weeks, I've really been enjoying my Torrey "Our 136" 5/8ths shoulderless with bakelite scales (the blade and tang stamp is washed out by the sunlight). Also with Martin de Candre Fougere soap, and my Thater 2-band finest badger.

    For years I've enjoyed the excellent European and Japanese razors, and I'm very pleased to have found an American razor that consistently shaves with the very best I've ever used.

    Yes, for some reason domestic razors go under valued. I guess they just don't have the cache of foreign made ones. All I can say having a few different American made razors is that they shave as well as any others I have.
