Hi All! Back after a very long absence. So long in fact that I couldn't retrieve my old username from the old forum before it got compromised.
Anyway - Today's shave is a restored Wade & Butcher. New Rosewood scales. It shaves very well. Has a bit of a smile but that's OK.
I didn't take it to the greasless because I would have lost all the nomenclature which is still readable but faint. Mistakes made - I don't know why I didn't tape the spine while honing. And I utterly forgot to sand down smooth the inside of the scales.
Shave bowl: Hand made ceramic by Sosan Fong in Calgary, Alberta
Hone: Naniwa 1000K thru 12,000 1k, 3k, 5k, 8k, 12k
Prep: Hot Water and Crown Shaving Co. Pre-shave
Soap: Taylor's of Bond Street Sandalwood shaving cream
Brush: Mohle
Razor: Wade & Butcher
Aftershave: Dr. Harris & Co. Windsor aftershave
