Thanked: 7Well, today is a very special day.
A very special day indeed.
Firstly, it is Thanksgiving Day. A wonderful day of “Thanks” for all the blessings and goodness we Americans have as a nation. No other nation in the world celebrates it, nor has the reasons to celebrate it like we do.
As Americans, we are free individuals. And we have set the standard of freedom for the rest of the modern world to follow. We are a free people, and have the freedom to speak what we want, worship whomever we want, and to reign-in our government officials if need be.
For that I am thankful.
And more personally, I am thankful for my wife, my child, my immediate family, my friends and coworkers, my shooting and sparring partners, and to my Internet peeps.
And besides “Thanksgiving Day,” I am also celebrating something else.
*drum roll, please*
I’m celebrating my 100th straight razor shave.
Totally didn’t plan it like this. But, “Sho Nuff”...this is just the date it fell on.
So to celebrate, I went with one of my favorite soaps, balm, and splash. (Which happens to be the wifey’s favorite). The famous Captains Chouce “Nor’Easter”
Fantastic face and head shave!
Baby butt smooth.
Am I still learning?
Like Scooby-Doo says, “Ab-so-ruet-ry”!
I was already getting fantastic shaves at the 15-20 shave mark.
But my confidence, technique, and system for shaving my face is fluid now. And it will always be on fine-tuning mode.
Anyhoo...here’s wishing everyone (even my non-American peeps), a great and festive day of peace.
