Great shave on this chilly and windy Northern California morning.

Wanted to change it up a bit, so I went with a narrower 5/8” blade this morning - my Shapleigh “Diamond Edge”.

I got this straight razor super cheap. (Maybe a $15 find). But it is one of my sharpest straights.

Holds a crazy sharp edge, and it’s my #2 straight razor for sharpness.

Cheap to purchase. Pretty easy to find. And I highly recommended this to anyone looking for a super “every day” straight.

And since I am still following my autumn/winter scents, I went with Barrister & Mann’s “Hallows”.

Great shave soap, a fantastic balm, with a soft and elegant scent. It’s a unique Halloween scent...but me and the wifey both love it for year round use.

No splash needed, as the balm scent is around a 5 or 6 in my book, and last for hours without being overpowering to those around me.

    Great shave!

Two more weeks left of my vacation, and I’m getting ready to keg my home brew this afternoon.

    It’s a good day. ❤️

    Straight: Shapleigh HDW “Diamond Edge”
DE: Carbon Shaving CX-316L (head shave)
    Lather: B&M “Hallows”
    Balm: B&M “Hallows”
    Brush: WCS Beacon (Silvertip)
    Bowl: Captains Choice (large)
