I can even say it backwards - “Wow”!
My favorite scent, with a nearly 200-year old straight razor. (Near full wedge).
Just a great, pure and elegant, scent.
The old, silent, atom-splitting straight, and the beautiful scent match so perfectly.
Just feels so vintage and original.
Sticky smooth head and face shave.

Sweet shave this morning.
I gotta say, this soap “Valyrian Steel” is pretty nice.
Sharp, crisp, and as weird as it is to say…it DOES remind me of shiny metal. It somehow places that image in my mind. Of knights in shining armor.
Weird.
But the soap is great, and lathers-up super nicely.
I chose Ralf Aust’s magnificent straight razor for the dirty deed.
As for the splash. I dab a bit of UNSCENTED balm on my hand, then add some splash to it, rub it together, then apply it to my face and head.
Puuuuuuurfecto!
Super clean shave. Although I did notice it took a smidgen more effort to shave ATG on my chin, where my whiskers are the densest.
I guess since I do my own honing, I’m pampered with only shaving with atom-splitting edges that glide through the whiskers effortlessly. And as such, I notice the very beginnings of “drag” from my straights.
So I guess it’s time to touch-up the Herr Aust.
But it was still a wonderful shave. Baby soft and clean skin.
Crushing Saturday…even though we need to stay indoors because of the fires that are causing horrendous air quality issues. (For insights, see attached pictures).
