Touched up the Filarmonica on my 4 sided balsa paddle strop with some diamond paste then Chromium Oxide 30 laps, before hitting it with a hundred on the Kamayama cordovan strop.
I got this razor NOS back in 2008 and I have never touched it with a stone of any kind. Just probably twice a year on the paddle strop to tune her back into the super sharp bevel that the factory made.
What a phenomenal shave this was.

Great shave this morning.
Pulled-out the ole cheapo, Shapleigh. (Got it for $10.00).
Just a super thin, super lightweight straight razor. But it’s got a crazy scary sharp edge.
Paired it with the Captains elegant “Sandalwood”.
I love that scent. Makes me want to put on my best suit after the head and face shave.
