SOTD WEDNESDAY MORNING, DECEMBER 1, 2021
RAZOR: Edgar Allan Poe Stubtail 8/8 (Mug), Barbasol Floating Head (Dome)
BLADE: Feather DE (Dome)
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Alpha Shaving T-400 Tribute fitted with 26mm Boar Knot Ferrule
SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Cremo Cooling Post Shave Balm.-Jeff

Awesome shave this Wednesday morning.
Wifey is off, so I used her favorite scent, “Massacre of the Innocents”.
It is a subtle but elegant scent, in which I personally do not smell any hint of tobacco. (It does have “tobacco leaf” fragrance).
Their milk steak formula is probably the best I have for (both) bowl lathering and post-shave feel.
Paired it with my Shapleigh Hardware (my cheap $10 straight razor) for an incredible shave.
Then used the best unscented balm on the market (for absorption and skin food), and a touch of the splash.
Crushing Wednesday.
Straight: Shapleigh Hardware “Diamond Edge”
DE: Carbon Shaving Cx-316L (head shave)
Lather: Declaration Grooming “Massacre of the Innocents”
Balm: Captains Choice “Unscented”
Splash: Declaration Grooming “Massacre of the Innocents”
Brush: WCS Beacon (synthetic)
Bowl: Captains Choice (large)
