    Thanks Shaun.
The shave is a little on the agressive side. Id say its the most agressive when it comes to the schick injectors.
But Ive got DEs that are more agressive. I just enjoy being able to shave with many styles of razors.
    It's just Sharpening, right?

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Excellent shave. The strop came in yesterday from the Bay. A little belated Christmas gift to myself. New in box. These become tougher and tougher to find. Thought I’d scoop one while I still can.

Great shave this late Wednesday afternoon.

Grabbed the smooth and sweetish-smelling “Cognac & Cuban Cigars,” and paired it with the Ralf Aust.

The balm is a bit thick, so only a small dab was needed for the face and head.

    Great, clean, scent.

Doesn’t smell like tobacco leaf much.

Stupendously close and wonderful head and face shave.

    Crushing Wednesday.

    Straight: Ralf Aust
DE: Carbon Shaving CX-316L (head shave)
Lather: Henri et Victoria “Cognac &?Cuban Cigars”
Balm: Henri et Victoria “Cognac & Cuban Cigars”
    Brush: Omega (synthetic)
    Bowl: Captains Choice (large)

ASW (made by Wet Shaving Products) Shave Soap and Aftershave - Old Virginia
    Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Star Jelly
    Evan's MrEE Aluminum w/Simpson Trafalgar T2
    Ralf Aust

Great 2.5 pass shave, everything performed very nicely. The 'Old Virginia' is a very rustic 'leather and tobacco' aroma put together by Lee at Wet Shaving Products for Asylum Shave Works (but discontinued). If you're looking for it...it's nearly the same as WSP's 'Tobacco', but this version seems slightly deeper/darker. You can see the soap is very dark brown, so I always use a synthetic or boar knot to lather this with.

Had a little fun in the 'studio' with the image today. The highlight on the blade etching is done with an extra flashlight that I can very tightly focus the beam to be the LED itself that makes the light. The LED is a rectangle....so it works pretty neat. Captured with an iPhone.
