    Default My SOTE 02/06/2022 - Murphy&McNeil soaps and inch-wide razors, part 3

Today I had used the Barbershop De Los Muertos 2 set and - again - my new Master Cutter Böker Damascus, after giving it "a short walk" through several stones with the result of a much more pleasant and more effective shave, than during its first use. Seems, that offered by manufacturer "shave readiness" wasn't really such an impressive thing ...

However, I felt my Damascus Böker a bit too sharp today - my face had stung a bit after applying the aftershave. But gentlemen - that's nothing, actually. After two or three shaves it will be fixed on its own

The second picture shows the edge before and after my today's honing session.

That's because I saved its life. The scales were cracked, and busted. Very intricate carving in the ivory, they just had to be saved.

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.
