Its a wedge. Purely ornamental grinding.
I suppose it did make for a tiny bevel, though. Feather edge?

    W. Picard razor
    Kanayama 30000 strop
    J & T badger brush
    L’Oreal barber cream (yuck)
    Institut Karité shea face lotion
    Penhaligon’s Eau de nVerveine

I tried this barber cream before once and then tried to lather it.
Turns out it’s direct cream. Just rub in with your fingers.
So, I did. The shave was not good. This cream clogs up like sticky gooey.
It also doesn’t give a smooth glide.
In the end I grabbed a DE; clogged that up too.
Needles to say, this junk went in the bin.
You may be a fancy fasion brand, but when it comes to shaving: please do your homework…
On to better things in life.
