    Friday Evening
    - Omega very plastic handle bristle brush. Don't know if it's boar or plastic bristle. plenty of backbone. A delightful lather maker. Feels very nice on my face.
    - Nagin ESPE Solingen 6/8 straight
    - Proraso Preshave
    - Oxford Shave Cream
    - Celebration Soaps Shave Soap. came in the lovely tub
    - Alum Block
    - Corn Huskers Lotion
    - Gillete Cool Wave After Shave...ZING!!!

Today was a successful shave NO BLEEDERS. NOT BBS but better than adequate Well I never knew of Oxford sc. I still don't really know how it is cause I mixed it with Celebration Soaps shave soap. Got a nice lather and a hidden treasure of this shave is the Omega brush. Probably a nothing brush in the hierarchy of brushdom...It was a darn fine lather maker and it feels VEry nice on my face. What more do we ask of a brush...NOTHING!!! It exceeded all my needs.
Ahhh today was a str8 shave day...This was my fav, or best razor, of the three in the SER STRAIGHT EDGE RAZOR Passaround
IF YOU"RE INTERESTED IN TRYING TO STR8 SHAVE THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO...
I'll have to look up how long I've had the Str8 from XChris..I fear I have to return them soon.
I have started to like the Proraso BUT it has a strange smell to it.
Not a good smell....a strange smell..I may give it up because of the smell.
Alum block. I don't know if my skin gets any benefit from this but I like it.
Corn Huskers Lotion..This is a great product.
Gillette Cool WAVE...WOW what a bite to it. From the alcohol. Not especially fond of this.

    Have a GREAT WEEKEND all

    hot shower
dropped my Fromm Eagle onto bathroom rug (never seen a man my size jump so fast!) -> dinged the edge!

20 passes leather strop (tree topping)
    20 pass newspaper (HHT)

    1x WTG
    1x WTG
    1x ATG
just a few weepers, but man, either the clay or the reworked edge made a big difference... this has been my "bitingist" razor for sure, but no slices today
    homemade lime AS
    Superior 70 bay rum

    As Borat would say, "Nice!"

    I also love Borat's "Nice!"

So what exactly did you think of the translucent as a final hone? I remember Michael Parker used to shave off his for a while...

    Cheers

Today was a huge step for TOB...
For the first time I used my left hand to do half the shave in addition to my right.
This allowed me to reach/see/access areas that I wanted to get to shave better than I had
    Tonight's shave was particularly memorable.
    - Kent Soap
    - ESPE Nagin Straight Razor 100 licks on the strop
    - a fantastic brush. No name on it . Molded plastic handle. Wonderful not badger bristles
    - alum block
    - Corn Huskers lotion
    - Floid Italian AfterShave
    - Guerlain Coriolan EDT

I str8 shaved using both hands..Shaving lefty gave me pause for a bit
Matt this is the brush I was talkin to you about. THis no name brush was just WOW!!
The Coriolan capped it off VERY nicely

THat's a Charlie Ochs OxForge Black Knife in the pic
