    Late Saturday night shave

    7/8ths W&B wedge new mahogany scales by Josh
    TM Latigo linen
    Simpson PJ2 super
    Tryphon permafrost
    MB summer ASB
    Styptic pencil

    HWR
    Conditioner
    Hot towel
    lather
    strop 20/45
    hot towel
    lather
    shave 1 pass down
    strop 20 leather
    shave 1 pass xtg on cheeks and up on neck
    hot towel
    shave another pass down on neck and up on cheeks

    Good formula for a irritation free shave. Not quite as close as an atg pass but good enough for me! Couple very small nicks on the chin though.

    Saturday Night Special

    6/8 Double Arrow, with microbevel (double taped spine re-honing, stropping)
    stropped 20x 0.5 micron diamond pasted leather, 20x newspaper
    Sappo Hill almond soap + bentonite clay + dollop of Noxzema (nice looking and feeling lather, but it dried out before each pass, not good)
    soaked beard in Noxzema while I made lather -> hot towel over Noxzema
    lather -> hot towel over lather -> re-lather
    1x N to S -> hot towel -> re-lather
    1x XTG -> hot towel -> re-lather
    1x ATG
    warm water rinse and a little touchup
    shower
    cold water rinse
    1:1 cocoa butter:Superior 70 bay rum

    Nothing was bleeding after the shave, and it felt pretty darn smooth <Borat>Nice!</Borat>... I did restrain myself from pushing it at the end while touching up, and I'm glad I did!
