SOTD: Sunday March 9 - Saturday March 15, 2008
I'll kick off this week's SOTD thread with a new razor.
Razor: Shumate Tungsteel
Strop: Unidentified vintage strop
Shaving Cream: Omega Shaving Soap (rebranded Prorasso)
Brush: Cheap Badger
Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman
Results: Fantastic! The Shumate has emerged as the clear favorite in my feeble rotation... (thanks Joe!)

= 4711 cologne - 1st time don't know if I like it
I only did one pass cause I sliced my chin pretty well. Nice cut. good edge.

Wow did I get a great shave. I couldn't stop touching my face it was sooooo smooth. You would think I would be used to a really smooth shave by now but it was better than ever.

Had to test shave razors this morning...
My standard shave using Mitchell's Wool Fat soap and Musgo Real cream mixed into an ultra smooth Uberlather...
The razors are my Boker Red Injun #101 spike point, a antique store rescue....
and one of my "Boker Brothers" beautiful Gold Washed round point King Cutter...
Something about a Boker edge when it is up and running right, is hard to beat, and these two are no exceptions...
Both sides of my face and neck feel nice and smooth....
