For the first time this evening I honed a blade to a point where I feel the shave was excellent. This one is on par with the other blades I shave with that have been honed by gentleman with experience. A much different feeling when getting a great shave from your own edge.

I've been away from the straight for a little while due to a ding in the edge A member over at SMF kindly remedied that situation for me . . . and now I'm back on the straight razor bus! Two slow and steady WTG passes did me good today.
