Yup, "balls o' steel" is pretty much my nickname around these parts.....

What helps is that I only paid $10 for that razor, so that reduced knee quivering quite a bit...

I work at a research lab, and so I sometimes sneak my razors in on the whiz-bang research grade Olympus microscope we have here.

It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it!

Default When all else fails read the Directions !!!

Being a "Typical" guy I only read those stupid directions AFTER the fact.....

So as you can see from my pic I decided to try out some of the Baxter shave stuff that I got samples of...
So reading the front I interpreted the one to be a shave cream and the other to be a shave balm, well heck that's sorta what it says...

So opening another great sample, of Trufitt & Hill pre-shave oil, I got started after a nice hot shower...
I dumped the "Shave Cream" in my glass lather cup and used my Conk pure badger to whip up some lather.......................................... Hmmmmmmmm doesn't lather real good I says to myself............................................ ... Hmmmmm oh well I slather this thin gruel on my face and Take the little "Mac the Knife" to shaving.... Not bad one pass WTG and a quick clean up on the lines and done. some rinsing, some of the Baxter ASB, ooooooo DAT"S nice ......
So I gets to reading the back of the "Shave cream" and find out the this goes on the already shaved areas
Yeah, yeah, I know Duhhhhhhhhhh .....

Now also being a typical guy my brain says "Huh, tht's why that Mac is yer best shaver, it shines even when yer an idiot"

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once there were brook trout in the streams in the mountains. You could see them standing in the amber current where the white edges of their fins wimpled softly in the flow. They smelled of moss in your hand. Polished and muscular and torsional. On their backs were vermiculate patterns that were maps of the world in its becoming. Maps and mazes. Of a thing which could not be put back. Not be made right again. In the deep glens where they lived all things were older than man and they hummed of mystery. - From The Road by Cormac McCarthy.
