Steamed towel x2
Hot water rinse
Lather up
Razor: #18 Beau Brummel 11/16
Strop: Illinois #827 Russian
25 laps linen
50 laps leather
Steaming hot towel over the lather
Hot water rinse
Re-lather
WTG pass
Hot water rinse
Re-lather
20 laps leather
XTG Pass on cheeks
ATG Pass on neck
Hot water rinse
Touch up on beard lines
Hot water rinse
Alum Block pass
Clean up the Shave Den
Cold water rinse
Aftershave: Capt Smith's Bay Rum

Wednesday. Got up and decided to try one that hadn't shaved that great for me before. I think the stropping made the difference, this time I gave it 20 on the cotton and 30 on the leahter (before maybe 10 on cotton and 20 on leather).
hot towel, 1805 shave cream. great shave.
