ugliest SOTD ever
Hey guys, today I had the opportunity to test shave my two worst looking razors. I got these for under $2.00 each, and I'm happy to say they are great shavers. I still have no idea where, when, or by whom the rangoon razor was made. These will both be getting new shoes and a bit of shine very soon.
Both razors freshly honed on Diamond 1200, BBW, Coticule (HHT no problem), balsa w/CroOx powder, newspaper stropped 40 laps, TM latigo 50 laps.
Hot shower
TGQ bay rum cream
boar brush (wanted the scrubby feeling today, so I left the silvertips alone)
Left side:
Rangoon full hollow
WTG, lather XTG, lather, ATG
Right side:
Griffon carbomagnetic
WTG, lather XTG, lather, ATG
cold water rinse
cold towel
splash of AS
great shaves!
well worth the $2.00
