Default SOTD:: Sun May 10th - Sat May 16th "Name that Razor Week"

Okay, we thought it's time for another themed SOTD week, and that it might be a fun idea to name the particular razor you were using/posting for the day.

What name? Well, it is up to you. It could be "Black Mamba" or "John" or "George Hinckleby III." It may be a good idea to include a little something about why you chose that name.

Some would say "bah humbug...naming objects is for girly men" or "anthromorphism may predispose one to developing OCD." Okay, then just think of it as an extension of your nick or your avatar. And if you are the sort who uses his real name on the forum and an ID photo for his avatar, feel free to call your razor something like "Dovo."

Or not at all. Like all our themed SOTD weeks, this is non-obligatory. Feel free to just post the usual stuff.

Remember, this is for the week starting Sunday, May 10. Don't post your SOTD for today or tomorrow on this thread.

And remember, this is all in fun!

AHHH, the pressure, 1. wait till sunday 2. finish finding a name for my Torrey before then. I've been racking my brain and just can't nail it down yet.

I love this idea! I'm curious to see what names come up. I'm lucky that I only have two straights to name. Sadly, neither is shave ready yet.

I'm game. It'll be a good excuse to shave with my own razors for a change. And that's a good excuse to finally run them across the C12K to see what that does for the edges.

    Default first hone

This razor is my first attempt at honing, and I would call it successful. This straight razor stuff is addictive.
