    Soap: Tabac

It was a good/bad shave. The Brand New brush was fabuloso. But the JC is not treating me right. If looks could kill, but... I'm not feeling the love.

My best shave to date. I am BBS the next morning. The Robert Klaas never disappoints. A two-pass shave WTG/ATG. XTG isn't even necessary with this blade.

A bay rum junkie's dream, especially after St. John's Bay Rum bath soap. I like the Ogallala's scent and performance, but it clearly has some cinnamon in it and burned my skin just a bit. Surprisingly good soap, though.

Today was something of a special shave for me, as a friend of mine is going to be giving me a "touch test" to see what a sharp straight can do. Naturally, I reached for a special blade.

Started off with one blade only to discover it needed some touching up on a hone and or a lot of stropping, so I had to go back a trusty blade. So this is what I ended up with:

Joseph Rodgers &Sons 13/16th's in Bloodwood.
    Crab Tree and Evelyn NOMAD
Shaveden West Indian Sandalwood After Shave Milk
Freshly Pumiced 3 wide black Latigo strop.

Good shave, but interrupted by my toddler and ended up slicing into my index finger.

I've had better shaves....next time I'll make sure to shave before family is up and about.

    Cheers
    D
