Joseph Rodgers 5/8 in translucent horn
MWF
Royall Bay Rhum
Picked up the MWF and Bay Rhum at a shop in Charleston. Antiquing was horrible there and I was determined to get a new razor. Came back to FL and hit an antique mall and found the Rodgers. Cleaned up the blade and scales this past weekend (thanks for the tips, Max!) and gave it a proper go this morning.

Joe Chandler 8/8 full wedge barber notch chopper, extended tang and tail. Some Straight Razor Designs Sandlewood soap (best out there IMHO) and a Stephens woodworking 24mm silvertip in tulipwood. Wont have to shave for another day, two passes and smooth as a babies bottom after a powdering.

Thanked: 137Today's shave was amazing, reminded me just why I love this way of shaving - 4+ days worth of whiskers just gone in 10 minutes, leaving me BBS, and then some.
Brush: Semogue 2015
Cream: TGQ Bay Rum & Sweet Orange
Razors: Dovo "Best Quality" with Kraut & Donal "Regina" for my second touch-up pass.
Two passes (first one XTG on sideburns, ATG on under-jaw and chin, and fool's pass). Second pass ATG/XTG on chin and under-chin. No need for AS, this was a smooth a shave as you would ever wish to see, and the TGQ cream kept my face nice and moisturised after the shave.
