Been home sick w/ some type of virus with little I can do so I honed this unknown smiling wedge on and offf for the past few days. What a pita! What a super smooth shave! Not the smoothest shave I've gotten but Iattribute it to the blade geometry. Some day I'll shavewith it fora week straight and get the technique down, but it won't be for a while.
Prep: Hot Shower
Strop: W. R. Case and Sons Signal Shell
Brush: Vestavia 25 mm Silver Tip
SC: CarrieM's Bay Rum
Razor: Unknown Super Smiley Wedge (sanded and polished by JrJoed and myself in cocobola - pic prior to honing)
AS: Clubman Bay Rum
Stellare shave! The SC and brush hit it off well together.
