I shaved pre-shower today, so...

-Sink full of hot water, held my face down in it a few times at 30 sec's each
-Mr. Taylor cream whipped up in a gladware bowl w/Vulfix short silvertip
-DD Goldedge, 10 linen and 20 leather
-one knock-down pass N-S all over at 25 degrees or so
-another pass down all over at 35+ degrees and pulling tight
-one pass across ears to chin pulling tight
-touch up with water and dabs of lather on fingers
-my "shave music" was the drone of a small space heater on the floor behind me mmm TOASTY ;-)
-shower, etc...
-Neutrogena razor defense balm
-Trumper's Spanish Leather

All in all, 25-30 min I guess............................................. ......Jeff

i shaved last night with my straight. touched up with some new handamerica paste on the treated flat strop, maybe 20 rounds. then about 10 on the george g strop. using my SRP razor

great shave using QED lavendar shave soap in the tub. used hot pot as well with the kent bk8. still cant get my neck but about 80% but did not touch up. gonna try new stretching tonight, pulling neck skin to the sides towards the ear and blade from all angles that i can, relather frequently or using the QED shave stick.

Watch wife and kids hold their noses as I walk through the house.

Exactly, no pic! I stayed up too late on here last night and hit the snooze one too many times. Oh well, I made it to work on time and I guess the upshot is more to shave tomorrow :-) Jeff
