Location: Miami, FL
Prep today: Hot Shower followed by Proraso cream
Brush: Vulfix Badger
Soap: Speick
Razor: Friodur INOX 7/8 Spanish point.
Astringent: Thayers
AS: Italian Floid.
I am trying Speick for the first time. I like it, it lubricates very well, has a nice fragrance and the lather is thick on the face; does not dry fast like TOBS cream. The INOX shaves like a Jedi lightsword. I enjoyed my shave today! SHAVE ON.

Thanked: 137Today's shave:
Brush: Semogue 2015
Uber: TOBS Lavender SC + Kell's Lavender Hemp/Aloe SS
Razor: Harris Bros 559 Wedge + Kraut & Donal "Regina"
AS: GFT Limes Skin Food
Mixed bag today. The uber was phenomenal, even with me forgetting to add the glycerin, and my face is remarkably smooth now. If you haven't tried Kell's Soap, I definitely recommend it (cheap, good, and specially formulated and very mildly scented for those with sensitive skin)
On the down side, I tried slicing a little with my usual fool's pass, and cut my lip nicely. Nicked myself again on my jaw/neck area, and had a few small nicks and weepers. A cold pass took care of most of them, and a styptic on the two cuts and one remaining stubborn weeper stopped those bleeding.
Good shave apart from the blood, although it was probably overdue (haven't cut myself in a good while and I often rush when shaving).

Thanked: 116Prep: Hot shower
Soap/Cream: cut down Tabac puck
Brush: Unknown 1930s badger
Scuttle/bowl: "Opa's rasiertopf"
Razor: Gebruder Hoppe
After: Alum block, bandage, Lamborghini blue
Nice ~7/8" cut in the XTG pass on the right cheek, otherwise good shave.
The lather I am getting from the bottom half of the puck is better than what I get from the top half of the puck. I may try flipping the top half over for a test shave tomorrow.Last edited by MichaelP; 10-28-2009 at 05:15 PM. Reason: XTG, not ATG
