3 passes bbs, decided to forego the aftershave, although I received a shipment of Ogallala Bay Rum yesterday. The Cavendish Black just smelled too good to cover it up with anything else.

Aftershave: Italian Floid

This morning:

Prep: hot shower, olive oil dab
Brush: Gibbs 210
Soap: C&E Sandalwood
Razor: B Winks & Sons Warranted Razor
After: Alum block and Nivea AS balm

So this was a double first

First shave with Sheffield steel and first shave with a wedge... I liked it very much even tho the silence was sort of deafening. It is amusing as I had never conscientiously noticed the shaving sound until this absence of sound. At first I even thought the razor wasn't shaving but just gliding on top of the stubble.
