    Good day, Gentlemen!

Trying a new photo technique today, apologies for the quality.

Soap: Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet transferred from one OS mug to another!
Brush: Rudy Vey 24mm custom Desert Ironwood #2
    Razor: The Aquanin American
AS: One single drop of glycerine and some coooooool water
    EDT: Egoiste Cologne Concentree, Chanel

Believe it or not, I went completely menthol-free today. BBS, and my face is loving the cool November air. Cheers!

Very fine looking razor there Greg!

Also, I dragged my laptop to the bathroom, so I have a picture today!!!

    Location: Clemson, SC
Razors: Hirohito's Revenge and a lovely 4/8 E.A. Berg in Ivory scales
Brush: Good ol' reliable Omega Boar
Soap: Fitjar Fjellheim again, best soap ever
Bowl: EJ porcelain with silver rim
    AS: Cold Water
Result: A little rough on my first try with a Japanese straight, but overall not a bad experience. I'm going to be a little more aggressive with it next time. 2 razors because I only used Hirohito's Revenge on the first pass.

Razor: Brookes & Crookes (From a boxed set of 2)
Brush: Col. Conk - Pure Badger
    Soap: Speick - Stick
    AS: Proraso Crema dopo Barba

Very nice shave. As smooth as with my Japanese straight. This Brookes & Crookes is my new favourite razor together with the Yahatamaru.

    P.S.

Give that Japanese razor another try or ten, DPflaumer. Once you get the hang of it, they are FANTASTIC!!

HAHA, no worries, I've got it another 13 days, I plan on stepping it up a little for each shave.

First go with a razor that gugi let me borrow... He may have to come pick it back up personally and heavily armed.

    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: Rooney 1/2
    Soap/Cream: MB/Proraso
Razor: W&B Celebrated Extra Hollow Ground 7/8
    Aftershave: Kiehl's Ultimate

First time trying the aftershave. Not bad stuff, a bit thicker than I thought it would be. Might try some witch hazel before it next time. The heavy blade seemed to give me a bit of trouble today, guess I've been getting too used to my lovely C-MON!
