No time to shave yesterday, but here are today's toys. The soap in the mug is DR Harris Arlington. Hey I finally decided on a signature quote too!

No time to snap a pic, but I did have a great shave:

--Shiseido for Men exfoliating scrub/deep cleansing somethingoranother
--QED Tea Tree oil, Patchouli, and Peppermint shave stick that I melted into a bowl soap
    --Plisson HMW 16
    --DD Satinedge 5/8 spike
    --Trumper's lime skin food
    --Penhaligon's Opus 1870 EDT

That's the first time I used a QED shave stick as a soap rather than a stick. I melted it into a ziploc bowl last week and built a lather on the soap just like any other soap, and it lathered very well. Boy is this stuff slick, too. This particular flavor was very bracing, almost like vicks vapo-rub, only on your face. I think this one would be very refreshing in the summertime, right now I'm not into a cold face, even though it is just a sensation. I can't wait until Charles gets all 16 or so in soap form. One of the slipperiest I've ever used!

    Thumbs up Saturday

Last shave of the year with the Henckels #50. Also my last shave with that razor since it was a test shave before I send it out to new member Morningshow and the razor's in good shape. Just trimming around this Van Dyke I'm working on.
