Otto: Beautiful razor...are those ivory scales? You call it a LITTLE Berg...from my point of view, it looks like a 5/8 or 6/8. Nice mug BTW.

Hi Hogrider: No the scales are plastic, but for about USD 5 on the Swedish ebuy, not too bad It looks smaller than my TI "Pierre Thiers" that is 5/8, but I haven't measured it yet.

The mug I inherited from my Granddad, whom I remember used it (with Old Spice) when I was a kid in the early 70ies. I love it, and use it every day.

    Default Wednesday night

    Prep - hot water/washcloth Proraso Pre/Post
Strop - SRD 2'' web/latigo 75/75 (thinking about using some Neatsfoot, but am having some success giving it a good rub with my palm to warm it up.)
    Brush - WS boar
Cream - La Toja Sensitive/glycerin (I gave this another shot and I think I just might not like it...I was trying to decide whether or not the scent was going to be something that I would acquire a liking for or it just was too "earthy" for me. Last night I decided it was just too much. I also think that it's a bit "foamy", whereas the Proraso, which is my fave everyday, is more on the "creamy" side...much more to my liking.)
Razor - Wostenholm Pipe 5/8 round (I need more razors in my collection...three just isn't cutting it...)
    AS - Aqua Velva
    ASB - Nivea Extreme
Post Shave Drink - plain old can of Bud
Post Shave Activity - watched the Metropolitan Opera's National Council Auditions on PBS. Fantastic!

Have a great morning - Julian

    One heck of a shave.

The rocks and rubbles around the trout are from The Big Horn, The Beaverhead, The Missouri, The Ruby, The Jefferson, The Big Hole and various norwegian trout streams.
