Prep: Hot shower w/ Lightfoot's Pine Soap and "Robeson" Method
Strop: Vintage Blades 3" Red Latigo
Brush: Caswell Massey Silvertip Badger
Shave Cream: Ingram
Razor: Dovo "Black Star" Red Pakkawood 5/8"
AS: Proraso

Results: Very good, close shave

Brush: No name pure Badger from Amazon, broken in quite nicely
Cream: CarrieM's Lilac, THANKS PAUL!!! It's a wonderful concoction!
Razor: Gold Dollar 208... dulls a little fast, but I love the heavier grind!
Strop: SRD Bridle and Webbed Fabric, She's a keeper
Scuttle: The Virgin Run of my new Schwarz... Even with poor initial water heat, the lather was better, richer, and warmer than any yet. I'm quite happy!

Post Shave Cologne: Express Reserve

Result, BBS, NO irritation, and the first REALLY good under-neck shave yet!

Prep>>Hot shower + proraso preshave cream.
Razor>>Filarmonica Double Temple. Stropped 30/30 in red latigo and webbed fabric.
Stropping>>This weekend I sanded down the strop and removed all the little nicks left behind when I was beginning to learn how to strop. I used dry/wet 600 grit sandpaper. Boy, the draw on my red latigo is super. The Filli was a delight to shave with.
Soap>>Vintage Blade brand-Lavender in wooden bowl
Brush>>Vulfix hogs hair 22mm
Astringent>>Thayers Lemon
AS>>Old Spice

Results>>BBS Shave...juuuust one little weeper in the upper lip. Shave On.

Post Shave - some Martini & Rossi over ice
Reading - more Thomas Mann Magic Mountain...well come on, it's like 900 pages long. It will be at the end of my posts for at least another week!
