    Robin, great choice of marble on your new vanity unit. What is the small hole for between the two basins? Just curious

    That is a recess for a barber's bowl. It is actually a small basin with its own water faucet. I am currently getting that one back into shape. The fittings are early 20th century French, the vanity unit is a bit older, probably 1880s from Germany. To put things into perspective, the ceiling is approx 13 feet high.
