Well my Hobby is cooking Indian food, so I included the book Mangoes and Curry leaves in my picture, an inspirational book for those interested in the regional variations in Indian food.

    Cream T&H Lavender
    Razor W&B 5/8 barbers notch
    Nivea balm
    Thayers Whichazel Astringent
    T& H Spanish leather Cologne

The perfect storm today, an awesome BBS shave!

    Out at the Range:

    The shave;;;;

The razor is my full hollow Damascus that Butch Harner made for me, snuggled into some of my Abalone acrylic scales..
The soap was AlRazamatazz's Da Bomb
The scuttle is the Georgetown one I won at the 09 NC Razorcon...
The AS some Osage Rub Wooooooowheeeeee that stuff wakes ya up..
    A 28mm Savemac Silvertip brush

Now as some of you know Gemstar Customs was originally my Custom Rifle Company I just kept the name and moved to Razors...

This is a Sniper rifle I put together some time ago.

    .308 win
    Remington action
    Lilja barrel
    HiTech custom muzzle brake
    Timmney trigger @2lbs
    Titanium pin with fast springs
H&S Precession stock, skim coat bedded.
Leopold Tac scope Mildot adjustable turrets
Before you ask that is a vibration dampener on the barrel...
and yes if you look really close you will see that the bullets are Molycoated I do them myself that way in the tumblers...

These pics were taken out in the back pasture where I have the rifle range, one of my requirements when I bought a place up here, was I had to be able to shoot right on my own property... So over the years I have put in a rifle range (those far trees are 100 yards away) a pistol range (see the close target holders), and a trap thrower (off to the right).. So, now when do you guys want to have a N Idaho meet up

I would drive from California to N. Idaho just to shave with that razor and fire that rifle.

Hobby Theme.. i'm not at my home to take pictures of:
    1) I consider, in a way, my profession a hobby: architecture
    2) my guitars.. 15 years since i started to play! Great and crazy youth times..! Continue playing to relax!
    3) my surf board (body board)..beach, sunn ..(girls..who don't like to be watched by them?!..ok ..my "Girl")..now i'm just a summer surfer in small waves..like we call it here "bathtub surfer"!
    4) Soccer!!!
    5) Very recent one, consequence of a "wine cellar" (gonna post a minimalistic 3D study picture i have here) that i draw few months ago in the city of Porto... Wine (..by the way..Max, monday of she goes!)

    6) My favourite / Expensive one.. Wet Shaving:

    Dorko 7/8 Spanish Point
    Kanayma 90000 Strop
    Veleiro Shave Cream
    Muehle Se. B. Aftershave Balm
BBS (only 2nd pass in the chin)!

    Happy SOTD Hobby Theme! Filipe

Well, that's the end of my razor monogamy! I'm a sucker for themes.

    Razor: Dorko 6/8
    Strop: SRD Premium I
    Brush: Rooney 2/1 Finest
    Soap: Institut Karite
    A/S: L'Occitane Cade splash

And that is Sonny Rollins' Saxophone Colossus (Apo) playing on a vintage Dual 1257 with an Orthofon cartridge.

The day has barely started for me and I'm already drooling at my keyboard. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

Damn G, one think I know. Every sucker that puts a foot on yer property a thousand yards away gets treated with a nice surprise :-)

And Ray, glad to see you back for once! I know you're a sucker for themes. Been missing your B/W pics.

Thanks to everyone so far for being such a sport and participating in our humble SOTD club.
