    Default Wednesday Morning !!!

    Recipe for a great shave:

    Take one Vintage Fritz Bracht #24 Dovo newly restored
    add 50 laps on webbing and 100 laps on the supple leather of an SRD Premium 1
    Wisk together some Bulgarian Rose soap with a Col.Conk Pure Badger brush until creamy...
    Spead this mixture thicky upon face, wait for the beard to rise
    Then remove un-wanted hair in one smooth pass...
    Clean up with some ice cold water and McLas Mentholated Bay Rum....

    Can you say Yea Baby !!!!

    Razor: Henckels Friodur, custom scales by John Cole
    Brush: Homemade long handle - Brazilian Ebony
    Soap: Dr. Harris Marlborough
    AS: Old Spice
    Notes: The razor just arrived in the mail today. I couldn't wait to shave with it. I was not disappointed. The Friodur provided a smooth shave, and the custom scales provided a whole new level of satisfaction to the shaving experience.

    Strop > Filly
    Soap > small(er) pieces of Speick
    Scuttle > Dirty Bird
    Balm > Witch Hazel

    LOL! Yep! and I received a sample of Mitchell's Wool Fat that is now "on deck" when the Speick finally fades...

    BTW, I believe those are the best lookin' scales on your razor that I've ever seen! Wow!

    I simply adore the wool fat, its a Marmite thing, you either love it or hate it..lol

    Wednesday evening.

    Prep: Wash face with glycerin soap, massage Cremo Cream into beard followed by hot
    towel.
    Brush: Simpson PJ2 Best.
    Cream: Castle Forbes Lime.
    Razor: 13/16ths Fritz Bracht era Dovo.
    Post: Thayer’s Witch Hazel, Proraso Splash.

    Always an excellent shave from this razor, my only Dovo.
