Sunday
Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Martinez' custom: Chess King w/ 26mm silver tip badger
Soap: TSD Coffee
Strop: Tony Miller Heirloom tri-strop
Razor: Revisor "Müngstener Brücke" 8/8 with ebony scales
ASB: Caswell-Massey number six

The last time I was using the Revisor I noticed it was starting to pull a little. Last night I polished it on my Chinese natural hone and it made a difference. Smooth shave! Have a great week!

1908 Gilllette Old Style Single Ring
Omega Boar Brush
Arko Shavestick
Mentholated Witch Hazel
Murray and Lanman's Florida Water
Fantastic shave on both the dome and the face. This combination of soap, brush and after shave treatment just seems to work very well. My first safety razor shave in a long time. The single ring sure is a great old shaver. The older I get, the better I was

Thanked: 11First shave with new Wapi
Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Crabtree & Evelyn “Pure Badger”
Soap: Vintage Blades Triple-Milled Proprietary Soap
Strop: 3" Red Latigo. Started on canvas and moved up, as this razor was New Old Stock and I figured it needed a bit more than the usual touch-up.
Razor: 5/8 Wapi SFK "Rassiermesser Mit Metallschalen"
After Shave: L'Occitane Cade After Shave Balm
Cologne: Carolina Herrera 212 Men
Result: Shockingly good. This shave was easier and more pleasant than my Dovo has ever been. Only needed two passes and touch-ups rather than 3 or 4. Balm worked nicely, mostly because the razor didn't cut me up at all. The VB soap was nice; no Pen's or TOBS, but solid and absolutely sufficient.
