I have been playing Chess since I was four years old. So when I found a custom brush maker, I had him make me a brush based on a chess piece design named Windsor.

    Default Thursday

    Pre: Shower
    Soap: Citrus
Brush: Custom made 24 mm silvertip chubby
    Razor: A 6/8 (I think) E A Karlsson from Eskilstuna + DE NEW
    Post: Proraso
    AS splash: Italian Floid

First time I used this straight and it shaved very well - BBF . And I used the DE for my head, since I got so much lather from the soap i thought I aswell could continue .

As for the soap, first time with that one aswell, good lather, not slick, but plenty of it (soaked too long, around 10 min). It felt a little sticky to my skin (that doesnīt happen often for me ), Iīll try it couple of times more, supposed to be a natural handcrafted shaving soap? Writing on the package is in Russian, Latvian and English (I bought it on the Bay from Irland) and itīs a guy with a fancy hat on the cover.

    Default SOTD 13052010

    Brush: Semogue Boar 1305
    Soap: Knize 10
Razor: Frederick Reynolds 13/16 - 6/8 Tapered Wedge
    Aftershave: TOBS Sandalwood Aftershave Balm

This razor took alot to get into, with the grain didn't take off too much, worked at it and at it cross and cross again then against. Great results apart from moustache area where I can't go against the grain just yet. Very enjoyable though and absolutely no nicks which is very unusual for me, especially since I had to use alot of pressure. A different sort of shave than I am used to. As I say still very, very enjoyable - in some ways even more so because of the challenge of getting really close. Anyway enough of my banter. A photo:

Mark, you want to sell me that razor....you want to sell me that razor....you want to sell me that razor. I guess those Jedi mind tricks aren't working so well this morning! Oh well, I thought I'd give it a try!

LOL!! This one and the two Friodurs I have are probably my favorite shavers at the moment. However, that Thiers-Issard I just got is climbing rapidly!
