    Pre Shave Oil
    Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Kent B&B LE Badger
    Morley & Sons Clover Brand
Tony Miller Strop 20 Linen/55 Latigo
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Paul Sebastian Cologne

Today was the first outing for the Kent B&B brush.. So, what better way to break in a fine British brush that with the finest British shave soap? The little brush held more water than I expected, so I had to go back to the puck to make enough luxurious Fat to shave six guys!
I'm now convinced that stropping on Linen improves my blades much more than I had thought..

    Great shave all 'round!

    SOTD Thursday June 3, 2010

Razor: 13/16 Frederick Reynolds Wedge Hollow Point
"Washington, Champion of Liberty" blade etch.
    Soap: Classic Shaving Lilac
    Mug: Vintage Old Spice
    Scuttle: RAB Ceramic
    Brush: Omega Boar
    ASB: Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Aftershave: Pinaud Lilac Vegetal

The first time I used this razor I raved about the best shave I've ever gotten and how smooth it was, yada, yada. I thought this morning maybe I was just really excited about this beautiful special razor and that I was projecting a "Halo Effect" upon it. After this mornings shave I have to say, I was absolutely correct; this is the best of the 24 straights I have and it is unequaled by any SE or DE razor I have as well. I normally do a WTG, ATG and ATG water only pass; with this razor after the first two passes there wasn't any reason to do another. There was absolutely nothing but smooth skin. I am a happy man! I hope your shaves were as great as this one was for me this morning.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
