This is my first real test shave with somebody else's razor! SRP member prosneek stopped by to show me the Shumate Shuraco he won off eBay. I wiped it down with some Maas, took it to the stones, and just finished shaving my neck below my beard.

The tang has MOP covers but the backside has about 1/8" missing. Eventually it might be restored but for now he needs something to shave with while cleaning up his lone other razor.

    Razor: Shumate Shuraco
Soap: The Gentlemen's Quarter Savon de Campagne
Brush: Ever-Ready handle with new super badger knot
    After: Royall Bay Rhum

    Cheers!

The Shuraco is a top ten razor for me. Great pic and great score for your friend.

Looks like this razor was never honed before. A 1930s factory edge. Shave ready? Yup.
