I'll get in on it even though it's not much to brag about, but hey, I'm on a budget. In the process of upgrading though...

    -Looong shower (after a workout)
-Wilkinson Sword brush (boar) & soap
    -5/8 Pakistani-made el-cheapo razor
-1 minor nick on the chin, that I took care of with the styptic
-My uncle's moonshine with some herbs added in the bottling process, as an astringent (took a swig as an anesthetic measure first)
    -UCS Avocado-Olive skin butter (moisturizer)

    edit: added a comma

The Savory Rose is wonderful as well. When she starts
selling again I plan on trying the Ginger Lime.

Okay, I didn't use a straight today, but I had such a great shave I had to post!

Merkur HD Classic with Gillette Swedish Blade
Shavemac Custom Brush (olivewood and silvertip, 24mm knot)
    T&H Shaving Soap
    Natureade Aloe 80
    Givenchy Gentlemen EDT

Glass face, and I smell good. Even the 24 year old cutie I sold the car to today commented on how good I smelled (naturally, after the deal was done!)

I will be shaving with a DE over the week end. Taking a little
road trip to the northern part of the state. It will be interesting
shaving with a DE after 2 months of exclusive straight shaves.

Thumbs down Half & Half Friday

Testing edges now so I shaved the left side of my face with the 13/16 Bill Ellis Ironwood Wade & Butcher, and the right side with the 5/8 Böker Tree.

W&B still shaves effortlessly, but doesn't get as close as I like. I think it's due for a trip to the hone.

The Böker has a wire edge. Uncomfortable and 'pink' shave.
