Ditto...Your razor is a work of art. I love that spine on the blade as well as the scales. Outstanding!

Aura Glow as a Pre Shave Oil
    Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Semogue #830 Boar
    Bowdin's Wedge
    Dicklinson's Witch Hazel
    Nivea AS Balm
    Pinaud Lime Sec

Today's shave was the first time I've had to mow down more than a day's growth in 7 weeks, and it felt great!
A great prelude to going out and breaking a few (hopefully more than a few) clat targets...

    Great photo BlacknTan,

What clay game did you enjoy. We used to compete in Sporting Clays a few years back. Hope you hit them all!

    Hi Lu,

I've shot all the clay target disciplines at one time or another, but now I shoot just for the sheer enjoyment...With a squad of guys that look at the game in the same light..
American Skeet was on the menu today. I spent years shooting sporting exclusively, but these days, I prefer to shoot a SxS birdgun... A 16 ga. with 28 ga. equivalent (3/4 ounce) reloads. The sporting range at our club is set for long targets and purpose built guns. My 16 sports fixed chokes of Skeet/ Light Modified. I shoot all my targets low gun, because I'm out there for fun and practice for grouse season.
I cut my teeth on American trap, but I love International, actually Modified Clay pigeon, as true International requires a bunker with fifteen traps. There are but a few installations on the East Coast.

I don't run straights anymore, and I don't see targets as clearly as I used to, but I can still hold my own... And the best part... I still enjoy the games and get out and have fun..

If anyone is in the Northeast, and would like to shoot clay targets as my guest.. please drop me a note!

Thank you for the offer will keep in mind if I can get up to the Northeast.

That is a pleasant time spent with friends. I only shoot o/u as I have yet to get a S x S but it is on my list for the future. Our O/Us (Mrs. Lu has 1 O/U for clays & an A5 Browning for hunting) have been ported and I reload light 1 oz for clays. Hunting load full charge 1 1/8 oz for Dove and shoot commercial for Ducks. All our shooting is done low gun as even when we were competing we always looked at it as practice for hunting.

We really want to get the girls into shooting, but we have to wait a bit more. We have already gotten them a BB gun & a Bow. They both have demonstrated good abilities. (proud father)

    Cool Weds night shave

Hot shower + hot towel + Proraso preshave cream
Boker Edelweiss honed sometime ago by muah...the little fellow is a joy to shave with, smooth and it does not pull at all.
Vintage Blades proprietary soap. Lavender in wooden bowl...exquisite.
    Omega hogs' bristle brush.
    Thayers Lemon
Old Spice original formulation. Feels like I rubbed Habanero peppers on my face
Pre de Provence after shave balm

Is a joy to "see" a lot of new faces here...I am attaching a letter of character from a friend and sent to "upper management".
