Wednesday morning
Pre: Hot shower
Razor: Frederick´s The Old English Razor
Brush: Ikon 24 mm silvertip chubby
Soaps: Omega + Nannys Yushu LE
Post: Proraso
AS: Old Spice Fresh Lime
Strop: Neil Miller linnen/buffalo 50/70
Result: Smoooth
I love how my English near edges shave, so smooth and close. I allmost allways are surprised how sharp they´re, when shaving with them you don´t get that feeling and sometimes it´s easy to nick one self. Not today though . I tried some "super lather" today, thank you all for letting me know what that is! Very nice combination a hot and humid day like today - menthol combined with Nannys excellent soap = very, very nice.

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:
1964 Macys badger
1958 Executive/Iridium
Institut Karite SS
Lumene AS balm
vintage Caron 'Yatagan' EdT
The gold Executive is very similar to a fatboy as far as the shave goes. I prefer the Executive's knurling, since it provides more bite to the grip. The Toggle has the same pattern as the Executive.
BBS results,
Martin
Here's the fatboy and Executive together for comparison.

Fantastic shave, the touch up hone was apparently quite successful. 3 passes, BBS. Waiting for the dentist to open up. I was doing OK as long as I was on the antibiotics but once I finished them up the toothache is back in a big way. This sucks and I'm tired of it, I'm squaring it away this morning. The older I get, the better I was
