Did you seen already the pipe-thread? There are some more beautiful pipes from other members too.
Enjoy!

Thursday morning
Pre: Hot shower
Brush. New Forest, 20 mm two banded finest
Razor Anton Wingen
Soap: Nannys Citrus Zinger
Post: Proraso
AS: Floid, Italian
Strop: Neil Miller linnen/buffallo 50/80
Result: Very clean
This little brush is a great brush , soft but with backbone. I loaded my "fido" (the brush) for approx. 30 secs and I had enough for 2 passes + touch ups in face and 1 1/2 passes on the head. New Forest . Anton Wingen razor shaved better than I tohught it would, she also´ve nice new Leopard wodden scales made by Mr Miller in England.

Haven't hit the Bach yet...
Thanks Robert,
Actually I just took my 4th trombone lesson this past Monday so basically I'm at the "Twinkle,Twinkle" stage. I've played the piano for 44 years, played the alto sax for about 10 years (high school days), and bassoon in our former church's orchestra for about 8 years (last played about 12 years ago), so I'm no stranger to music. That being said, trombone is a whole different ball game. Brass is like speaking a foreign language to me. I'm still freaking out about the concept that making the slide longer doesn't necessarily equate with a lower note.
The process is really fun, though. I'm taking lessons with my 12 year old son, who chose it as the instrument he wants to play in school this fall. I guess I'm doing it for multiple reasons - I love a challenge (also one of the reasons for learning to straight shave), I enjoy doing things with my son (male bonding opportunity), and I figure if he gives up on it we won't have wasted the money on a good trombone
As for the Tour - I watched the prologue and haven't had the chance to watch anything else (or ride my bike much for that matter). It's been a busy summer!

Wowww. 44 yrs of piano, 10 yrs alto sax and bassoon for 8?? Holy Moly batman...That is impressive. Are you sure you are a veterinary radiologist...sounds more like a musician to me. .
Good thing that you spend time with your son...those are the ties that bind. My hat's off to you .
Stage 17 of the race was certainly one of the highlights of the race. it was a showdown between Contador and Schleck...I mean neck and neck most of the tough climb. Armstrong was a good 4 minutes behind.
